Keith Zimmerman, the longest–serving member of KSC Law, will transition from his role as a principal in the firm to an of counsel status, effective February 7, 2025. Keith has practiced for more than 44 years and feels that it has been a good long run. Over his career he has represented countless individuals in a large variety of cases before courts and administrative agencies. For the past 25 years, Keith concentrated his practice in representing unions and individuals in employment–related matters. He takes tremendous pride in counseling, assisting, and mentoring union leaders over the years. In particular, he helped the Baltimore Teachers Union negotiate ground–breaking collective bargaining agreements that greatly improved educator pay and working conditions. Likewise, Keith takes much satisfaction in mentoring many of the firm’s attorneys, including the current principals of the firm. Keith will continue to reside in Baltimore City and will work with the firm on special projects. We wish him the best and look forward to hearing about his passions – family, cycling, and travel – and whatever new projects he decides to tackle.
David Maher will become a principal of the firm, effective February 8, 2025. Dave will assume lead responsibility for the firm’s clients that have been represented by Keith. He will continue to represent the firm’s other union clients before arbitrators, state and federal courts, the National Labor Relations Board, the Maryland Public Employee Relations Board, and other administrative agencies. Dave will also continue his work representing our clients’ interests before Maryland’s General Assembly. We appreciate all the great work that Dave has done for our clients and congratulate him on his new status.
